Can you say Three-Peat?

Yes we did win the CFSC AGAIN!!!

We qualified #2 with a 6.649 behind Terry Brown's 6.647. We hurt a piston/sleeve really, really bad on that qualifier when we had a port nozzle assembly issue 6.3 into the run. We put two pistons in it and left the bad sleeve to smoke if it wanted to.

On Sunday in the 1st round we laid down a 6.48 for low et of the event. In 2nd round we slowed down to 6.56. We had a bye in the semis and slowed down yet again to a 6.59 when John lifted a bit early knowing we had already secured lane choice for the final.

The final was against Sam Andreachi who we raced in the final three years ago in Grand Bend! Sam has changed to an Al Billes BAE hemi and was loaded for bear when he came to the starting line. At the flash of yellow John was off first and went 6.50 at 228.73 for The Win!

We were the only car to run a 6.50, much less a 6.40 all weekend. What else can we say about that JanCen horsepower? BUT, rest assured those Canadians will be back next time looking for different results! They are GREAT, GREAT people to race with and the camaraderie was fantastic this weekend!

Let me understand this Camp. You run a 6.64 to qualify....THEN with a bad sleeve , you run a 6.48, a 6.56 and a 6.59! Wow, we may be on to a new theory for race engines! I think I'd leave that bad sleeve right where it is! :wink:

Hmmm.... Maybe the motor wasn't hurt as bad as Camp says it was :shock: :lol:
