Driving Force - A&E

I have mixed feelings on the show. I must admit I laughed right out loud a couple times, but if the show doesn't get into some hardcore grunge dragracing a bit, I'll be loosing interest quickly. So far I think A&E has put something good together. I think everyone will look at John a bit different as the show continues. Ashley is more prissey than I thought she'd be.

We were just talking about it a bit here at work. I guess I liked it a bit more than I first thought while we were laughing this morning. He's pretty much like my grandfather was...........Very Old Fashion

They put a bit of Hollywood in there, but that's expected.

I do not think that it was that bad... you have to keep in mind that the show was devoloped to capture a "new" audience. They make a typical "not your typical american family but man are they interesting plot" to get people interested. Then they hope that they might wanted to see a drag and maybe even come out to the track to meet the people that they have been watching on tv... it is kind of like the drug dealer down on the coner. he gives you a free sample at first just to get you interested... next thing you know you are a full blown addicit. Same things happens with drag racing.. some people just get addicited to it.
