A couple of years ago I took 2 of mine with me on the first leg of the Power tour that went to New Orleans... I flew them home from there and had a blast. Of course, the peace and quiet I had for the rest of the power tour was great.... hahhaha...

Darla... anything you need... i am here for you guys.... not that I have the best advice... i do however have advice...

You know... because I was racing, I had all of my children in the winter Tammy is a Winternationals baby... Jan 30 1983... woo hoo.... I thought it was a good idea to have winter birthdays because I would be home... and in the old days we traveled so much from March to late Sept... it seemed like the right thing to do...

Oh well... I am rambling... Happy Friday all...

Hey Bill...

AJ is here tonight. he goes to college as a freshman and he is working at Ralphs supermarket at the same time. He wants to be a film director and i couldnt be happier that he is not going into the automotive industry. i am going to do the clutch for a nostalgia nitro car for a couple of races this fall and he will enjoy coming out for that kind of thing. I think i have purchased an 79 Arrow funny car body as wel as well... so things could be getting interesting real soon....

Robbie on the other hand is not a car guy and i am ok with that as well.... he graduates from the 8th grade next friday... he is doing good as well... all the kids are doing great and support my madness. AJ especially enjoys the PRI and SEMA show as welll as my new bride. i have known her for 7 and a half years and she has been to the races and the trade shows with me before... maybe I can get her to columbus this year at least...

have a great night all...
B

ok what about columbus this season with the nsca, i will be there and so will mike. hopefully the chevelle is coming also but we toasted the cam on the chassis dyno and right now the block and heads are in the machine shop in grand junction. i will make pri for sure this year.
we had the heads tested for flow number and mike felber was pretty much right on with his figures.
mike flowed the heads and got 330 cfm outta the production 990 heads, this new guy got 314 outta the intake and that is less then 1% between the two testings, not to bad for a production head and the intake flows all the way to .800 as does the exhaust. the exhaust flow was 197 cfm between .700 and .800. we pick a great crane roller for the motor and now its a matter of how timely mike get this all together for the season.

as for aj i was hoping that you both would get brand x up and running again and i know this drove you almost to death last time you tired to make it go. but with the youth and enegry of aj helping you out i was hoping for the best.
right now i cant wait to get a copy of this book and i know when i spoke to mike canter he was excited as hell to see the book almost read to go.

congrats on the new bride and i hope the very best for you both.

i am in denver staying with a lady friend, when i get home next week i'll call you. till then all you moms and dads who have kids who loke the racing stuff, encourage them as much as you can.
i wished my son would get into this but so far its just the watching part that seems to be enough for him right now.
